Topic Summary (Short Version) :

Kraze is a story of resilience in the face of chaos. Through personal stories of everyday Haitians, it will reveal the humanity and strength of a people living under the shadow of political upheaval and gang violence. Rather than focusing on despair, Kraze will illuminate the dignity and cultural pride of Haitians who continue to live their lives despite relentless challenges.

The personal stories of Haitians in Port-Au-Prince reveal the humanity within Haiti to the world. Headlines frequently desensitize us to global horrors, but intimate accounts of everyday Haitians enduring civil unrest bring a different perspective. Narratives of children attending school, women working, and men seeking resources amidst the violence help us approach these conflicts with empathy and understanding.

Kraze, The Documentary, will focus on the resiliency of Haitians living in Port-Au-Prince. It will tell the intimate story of  people surviving during the violence. While the film focuses on the tragedy it is not a pity piece, it is a documentary highlighting the humanity and the resilience of people who have been surrounded by tragedy.
